❄️ General Information
1. What is R32?
R32 is a single-component HFC refrigerant gas used in modern air conditioning and heat pump systems. It is widely preferred in new generation systems due to its high energy efficiency and low GWP value.
2. Where is it used?
R32 is primarily used in split air conditioning systems, VRF/VRV systems, and residential/commercial heat pumps. Many new appliances are now factory-produced with R32.
3. Can R32 be used as a substitute for R410A?
No, direct gas replacement is not possible. R32 has different pressure and safety classifications. Therefore, it should only be used in equipment designed to be compatible with R32.

4. Can R32 cylinders be refilled?
Yes. As MAX GAZ, we offer R32 gas only in CE certified, refillable cylinders. Single-use cylinders are not sold.
5. Is R32 a flammable gas?
Yes. R32 is a Class A2L low-flammability gas. Therefore, safety procedures must be followed during storage, use, and servicing.
6. How should cylinders be stored?
They should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, in an upright position, and away from ignition sources.

7. What is the GWP value of R32?
The global warming potential (GWP ≈ 675) of R32 is quite low. Therefore, its environmental impact is less compared to R410A.
8. What precautions should be taken when working with R32?
Since R32 is flammable:
- Equipment that can create sparks should not be used,
- The area should be ventilated during filling,
- The procedure must be performed by a trained technician.
9. What should be done in case of a leak?
Shut down the system, ventilate the area, and contact an authorized service provider without allowing gas to accumulate. Stay away from ignition sources.
