About R218
R-218 gas is chemically known as Octafluoropropane (C3F8). While octafluoropropane is used as a refrigerant under the name R-218, high-purity C3F8 gas is primarily used in two plasma applications in the semiconductor industry: as a working substance for C3F8 plasma etching of wafers and C3F8 plasma cleaning of vacuum chambers, and as a component of cooling compositions. Furthermore, due to its chemical structure, it is frequently used as a refrigerant in systems requiring very low temperatures. In addition to these applications, it is also used in medicine. C3F8 gas is not a flammable gas.
Max Gaz was the first company to import this gas in Türkiye. CF4 gas is not flammable. Our company stocks R14 in 1-liter (Net 1 kg), 12-liter (Net 12 kg), 30-liter (Net 30 kg), and 61-liter (Net 61 kg) cylinders. R14 is available by special order, so delivery times range from 3 to 6 weeks.
